I started shooting as a child, then it was a Soviet Zenith film camera. My brother and I developed the pictures ourselves in the bathroom under the light of a red lamp, using developing chemicals. years later I returned to photography as an assistant, in a big studio and then I started producing my own photography.

I am a photographer based in New York, NY. I first became passionate about photography while studying at the School of Visual Arts and working freelance making images for headshots, events, and to represent different brands. I love to capture authentic moments on camera and create images that align with my own personal vision and my clients.

After 25 years in commercial photography, I ‘ve acquired considerable skill in making products, portraits, food and architectural scenes look appetizing. Since childhood, I dreamt of becoming a great photographer and now I combine this dream with my job and I appreciate all the peculiarities of lighting, composition, and other elements that define a great shot. My training includes mastering the studio lighting, the post-production process and I ensure that I give the clients the kind of visuals they want and much more. Regardless of the commercial breakthrough with high stakes or any other artistic work, that is when I desire to give the best outcome that shares a great story and impacts people.

Over the years, I have dedicated myself to mastering both the technical and creative sides of photography, constantly learning, experimenting, and refining my craft. Andy graduated as DP from film school in Miami, Fl. He has worked in fashion, editorial commercial and weddings for over 12 years. Worked for the world's second press agency ( France Press/EPA ) for 4 years. Have ample experience in the field and style can be categorized as editorial with photojournalistic approach. Andy had his own studio for ten years in Miami Beach before relocating to New Orleans where he worked with Willemina agency, Elite, Young and Rubican, MGM Latino, Think Bravo, Telemundo and NBC.

I am an artist and I always been the one. The only media changed. It was watercolor and pencils when I was in high school and later in college. It moved to the digital drawing and painting on the computer screen using drawing boards. I travel all around the world with my camera securely attached to my wrist all the time trying to capture the essence of our existence.

I'm Dmitrii, a photographer from South Florida. My experience as a photographer is over 5 years in different countries, and for the last 2 years I have been based in the USA. In my world of photography, it's not just about snapping pictures. It's about creating an environment where every client feels not only seen but comfortable in the spotlight. I'm all about genuine emotions, uncovering individuality, and telling your unique story with each click.

With 10 years of over all experience shooting families and weddings, I've developed a process of making photoshoots easy and fun for everyone. Through weddings I've gotten to learn so much about people. Shooting family portraits, portraiture, products, events and even architectural photography within one day. My favorite type of shoots I would say is events! But family photos are my speciality especially shooting youngsters and making putting them ease and showing them what I am doing and hopefully inspire others to become photographers too.

My interest in photography comes a long way, buying my first camera in 1986, a Canon AE1 Program with which I learned photography from the New York Institute of Photography, finishing in 1988. Then in 1990 I went to The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale where I graduated in 1993 on Commercial Photography, using everything from 35mm, Medium Format and Large 4x5 View Cameras. My passion for my craft is creating the scene, studio lighting, location lighting, taking the time to learn more and more every day. Photography is always evolving and one needs to evolve with it and embrace the changes. It’s a wonderful thing!
