Hello! My name is Justin, I am a photographer and videographer in the DMV area. I have been in the field for 5+ years and have loved every minute of it. Every genre of photography and video is different and there is always something new to learn, no idea is a bad idea and creating stunning images is always the perfect reward.

With a background in restaurant management and culinary arts, my journey into the world of photography emerged organically, fueled by a passion for both food and visual storytelling. Self-taught and driven by curiosity, I embarked on a journey of exploration, honing my skills behind the lens. From the sizzle of a pan to the delicate arrangement of ingredients on a plate, I find beauty in the details of culinary artistry. As a food photographer, I strive to capture not just the flavors, but the emotions and stories that unfold around each dish. Through my lens, I aim to transport viewers into a world where every image tantalizes the senses and ignites the imagination. With an eye for composition, lighting, and color, I seek to elevate the ordinary to the extraordinary, transforming humble ingredients into visual masterpieces. Drawing inspiration from my culinary background, I approach each shoot with the precision of a chef and the creativity of an artist, crafting images that evoke a sense of taste, texture, and aroma. Whether working with Michelin-starred restaurants or local eateries, my goal remains the same: to capture the essence of food in its purest form and share it with the world. With a palate for innovation and a hunger for perfection, I continue to push the boundaries of my craft, seeking new flavors, techniques, and perspectives to create images that not only satisfy the eyes but stir the soul.

Gary has twenty years experience in a variety of photography niches. This is due to his time as a photographer and multi media specialist for the US Navy. He photographed ceremonies overseas, investigations with NCIS, ran three government studios in Florida, and left the Navy as a photo and publication editor for a military engineering firm in Washington DC. Out of government service, he maintained a wedding photography business in Jacksonville, Florida shooting over a hundred weddings, portraits, and family events part time from the US Navy. Gary no longer shoots weddings, as he found his passion and a continued love of service by supporting business small and commercial for their photography and content needs in today’s digital landscape. You will notice he has a love affair with food, thus the amount of food and product photography you see in his gallery. He understands the need for good content and imagery to tell your brands story, from products, services, to you the creator and owner. Gary is sought out by his photographer peers as a coach for their artificial and studio lighting needs in both still life images and portraiture. Gary’s purpose isn’t really just to wield a camera and take a cool picture, it’s to help you sell the magic of your brand’s story.

I love photography for the creative expression. I love the look on client's faces when they see their portraits and when their product is displayed in the way they invisioned it. I started out in a portrait studio in 2007. I spent a few years there and taught myself anything I didn't learn there. After that I went freelance and started traveling the world.
