Having extensive knowledge of the print process and retouching is a big help in post-production and just adds another level of expertise to what she offers when shooting. How did you get started with photography

I got started taking photos of my friends' kids, they would all compliment the photos and I'd say "yea of course you love these, they are of your CHILDREN!" but then everyone that would see the photos would compliment too and my friends said "we won't let you NOT start a business!" with their and my family's encouragement I set off into the photography business and wow! was I amazed at how the business took off! I am so grateful!

What do you love about your job?

Creating long lasting images for my clients that they'll get to cherish for a lifetime makes me SO happy! I love documenting LIFE! I love that I get to meet people from all walks, and get to shoot on all sorts of locations in this incredible city.

What are some of your favorite places in New York City to take photographs?

DUMBO, Greenwich Village, Prospect Park, Williamsburg, Bryant Park.
