Born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin - Jonah is an avid photographer, designer, traveler, musician, and outdoor enthusiast. Jonah has photographed everything from professional musicians, products, weddings & other events, over 4,000 real estate properties, commercial construction, and more. A firm believer in the power of marketing and engaging with the strong visual appeal of professional-grade photography, I have always strived to use the best techniques both in-camera and on-site of the shoot, as well as in post-production methods and techniques in editing each photo. A strong connection with each client has always been of utmost importance on each job, and maintaining transparency and answering any and all questions during the work process is always my main goal.

I love photography. However, my career path started in a different direction, which actually helped me be a better photographer. I started my career as an art director with ad agencies and Fortune 500 corporations. I’ve art directed many photo shoots with nationally-recognized photographers, concepting the idea, then supervising the photographer to capture the image consisting of products, fashion and editorial imagery. Photography can be expensive. Clients like to save money. Often, to protect the budget, I would take the photo and build it into something that would be cost-prohibitive, or even impossible, to create in-camera. I’ve taken that experience and put it behind the lens. While I love doing traditional photography, what separates me from other photographers is what happens after the image is captured.
