How did you get started with photography

I remember going on a family vacation and my grandmother handing me one of those old plastic disposable cameras. I had no idea what I was doing but I was hooked on taking photos. My grandmother instantly regretted this as I required a steady stream of disposable cameras and endless trips to pick up my horrible developed photos.

What do you love about your job?

Anytime I have a camera in my hand, it's not work, it's play. I love capturing moments. My goal is to capture a moment so meaningful that it ends up hanging in your livingroom. When I hand a client a print and they are brought to tears, I have done my job.

What are some of your favorite places in Honolulu to take photographs?

This is Hawaii! The best place to shoot is the beach at sunset or sunrise! I love capturing all the colors and textures of the skies and ocean. No studio can match the natural beauty here.
