How did you get started with photography

Since I was in grade school, I was fascinated with cameras and film because of my love of pictures and cinematography. In elementary I started experimenting with Nikon cameras and disposable ones. Then in high school my dad gave me my first video camera and I started shooting and editing projects for most of my classes. In college I progressed and took a lot of photography and film subjects. Photography has followed me since and carved a career from my passionate hobby.

What do you love about your job?

I love everything about photography from prepping my equipment, shooting, and editing. There is just something magical about uploading wedding shoots to your hard drive and sifting through all the shots you took. It's a great feeling when you know you captured that special moment that you could share with the person or people who were etched into that single frame you took. I like the instant gratification that I get when I push the button. It makes me smile.

What are some of your favorite places in Deltona to take photographs?

I love taking pictures at the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse during sunset. It is an amazing place to capture all kinds of photography from engagement, maternity, family photo sessions, and landscape.
