He spent the better part of a decade creating marketing and advertising video assets for companies such as GAP, Mattel, and GM while starting and running his own print publication, and has dedicated the past several years using the imaging and marketing skills he has acquired to help organizations and groups that he supports, such as the National Park Service, the World Forestry Center, Outdoor Project, Ecology in Classrooms & Outdoors, and the WHYMusic Social Emotional Learning program for public schools founded by the Earthtones organization.
Muklashy currently devotes much of his time to various humanitarian and environmental causes, and has self-tasked himself to develop original multimedia assets to help bring more attention to our underfunded protected public spaces. He is the creator and lead of popular social media platform Ello's official Outside Community, ElloOutside, and is also the creator and curator of The Future Is Pretty Rad (www.TheFutureIsPrettyRad.com), a popular futurist collection covering everything from sustainability, blockchain, 3D printing and beyond.
Wasim spends whatever time he has left documenting the surrounding parks and landscapes and open spaces through photography and VR, with the goal of exposing as many people as he can to the beauty that surrounds us each and every day...and reminding us to pay attention to it.
