What do you love about your job?
Unpredictability is the best part of photography. You never know what type of job will come your way when you wake up in the morning. I hate routine, so doing something different every day is a great way to keep things interesting and fun!
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Just as an example, I decided to bring a unique look to my maternity work. By using my extensive knowledge in Photoshop, I shoot before & after photos of the mom, before & after the birth of the child. I use a large mirror to show her while she was pregnant, and that reflection is used in the final photo where she is holding her child. Clients tend to love it, especially because it's different from what other photographers in the area are doing.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
No awards at the moment, but in all honesty, it's not something I've ever considered pursuing. I'm just focused on making sure the client is happy at the end of the day.
A fun fact about this photographer
In the last 10 years or so, I've found a passion for trying new things. I can't say exactly what happened to make me start doing these things, but in just the last decade I've become an avid traveler, motorcyclist, scuba diver, and even gone skydiving.
