More about Vanessa S....
What do you love about your job?
I understand the power of an image, and I want you to feel empowered every time you look at those memorable moments displayed on your living room wall. I love that; when I was a kid in the 1990s, my mother would put frames with photos of grandparents, aunts, and cousins all over the house, and it made me feel so close to people I hadn't seen in years. My sister and I spent hours looking through family albums and showing them to visitors (Lol). I know it sounds old-fashioned, but that is the power of photography to bring people together and build relationships. Time passes, and each year, when you look at your children or yourself in the mirror, you will notice the cycle of life changing and ushering in new beginnings. That is the beauty of life that I want you to remember for years to come.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I've done a lot of family and couple portraits. I've also done solo portraits in a more fashion-oriented style.
