More about Stella F....
What do you love about your job?
It's amazing to be the person that gets to capture a stranger's special moment. Some other highlights have been working for some of my all-time favorite music artists, or seeing crazy beautiful places on behalf of tourism boards. Everything I've gotten to do as a photographer has been really special.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I started with a focus on editorial fashion photography, but since then I've settled into various other types of photography as well. Senior portraits and graduation sessions are always really special to me because I feel like I get to be part of a really important moment in somebody's life. It's unique every time because the experience is always different for each person. My goal is to make every one of my shoots an enjoyable experience—for somebody celebrating a special moment in their life, you want them to be able to have a good time and be comfortable in front of the camera. So, for example, I would bring all of my high school seniors a bouquet of flowers to have as a prop for the shoot and to keep afterwards. Stuff like that is one of the best parts of my job.
My other experiences include live music & festival photography, international tourism photography, family, engagement, and more (all of which I love).
