What do you love about your job?
Photography provides so many possibilities that the sky is the limit. It is wonderful that every day is different and provides new possibilities. But it is the most rewarding when I can truly touch my clients. Last week a customer reached out to me, telling me how my pictures caused tears of joy. To experience how customers love the pictures I created is the most rewarding feeling imaginable.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have photographed in so many places under all thinkable conditions. In every situation it is important to feel the lighting situation and to intuitively know how to use it to your advantage. I use natural light or add artificial lighting on the pursuit of perfection, by pairing this with the emotions I provoke in my subjects.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I participated in various photography competitions and won many awards. Because photography is so important I started to teach others, empowering them to become great photographers themselves.
A fun fact about this photographer
Aside from photography I also love the musical arts and sing in two choirs as a tenor. Singing truly lifts your mood. You should try it too!!! ;-)
