More about Scott W....

What do you love about your job?

In all my years as a Photographer I have never called this career a job. This became my life where in between moments I would pause and live my life as a Human Being, sleeping , eating and socializing. My true Life is when I am holding a camera and creating images that help to give Life more beauty.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

Shooting for almost 30 years here in Australia and Internationally has given me the opportunity to shoot such a broad range of subjects and work with some many different clients. My clients broadness ranges from McDonalds to Disneyland to Ferrari to Helmut Lang to name a few. making them special for me will always come down to Pre-production and understanding light. These things will always help to make them special as there is understanding of the subject you are being presented with.

Awards, honors, and recognitions received

In 2005 I had my first exhibition on Tibet called "Old China , New Friend" which was launched in Melbourne and was then launched in Shanghai in 2008.

A fun fact about this photographer

Studying Visual Merchandising really helped my eye for detail in photography but I also was a hairdresser and have been a boxing coach for 30 years.
