More about scott 8....
What do you love about your job?
I love everything about photography. I love the connection that I make with my subjects, but I especially enjoy creating high end pictures for them that they will treasure for the rest of their lives. That is very rewarding. When I am not photographing people, I enjoy being able to take a photograph of something like a simple plate of food or a residence and turn those pictures into works of art as well. I am an artist, and I always have been. Photography is my life, my art, and the creative outlet that has always made me whole.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have photographed nearly eveything over my lengthy career as a professional photographer. I have done weddings, events, portraits, food, real estate, architecture, corporate headshots, high school seniors, newborns, toddlers, family portraits, special needs children, portraits of musicians, live concerts, products, animals...you name it.. I've done it. I also believe that my education and in depth knowledge of photography make me a cut above most of the photographers in the area. This combined with my easy going and friendly disposition enable me to extract the "real you" from people and the art in inanimate objects.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received

A fun fact about this photographer
Besides photography, I am a self described "music snob". I love music in nearly every genre and enjoy talking about the ins and outs of music. I also was a feature writer and columnist for Music Connection Magazine for over a decade and was fortunate enough to meet and interview nearly every single (living) musician that I admire.
