More about Roberto R....
What do you love about your job?
I love making eternal a single moment. I like to give my perspective of the things, to feel the adrenaline of a situation and try to tell how I can see it.
I like the emotions, the pressure, I like to obtain the maximum from a challenging situation and I love to see my clients happy for the job.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have a lot of experience at shooting corporate events, conferences, live entertainment. I think I am special at capturing the right moment, understanding in advance what it's going to happen and changing my settings quickly to the situation changing.
Also, I photographed many many portraits in my life. This allowed me to feel confident at directing you to myself and trying to get exactly the shoot you have in mind.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
Some things I am proud of: I worked for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, for the website pictures of National Galleries of Scotland, for the Enchanted Forest, for Edinburgh Hogmanay and for the Book Festival... all as their in-house photographer.
I have had a solo exhibition at the Italian Cultural Institute in Edinburgh, and my photos have been published on many newspapers and magazines such as New York Times, Time, The Guardian, The Times, Lonely Planet, Mojo, plus many others.
A fun fact about this photographer
I can't watch a film or a TV series without crying. I don't know why, but all the times I end trying to hide my tears, even for movies that are not really dramatic. I never understood why -.-
