What do you love about your job?

There are two things I love about my work. First, I get paid for capturing beauty in the ordinary. And second, my work has been seen by thousands of people.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have done many executive portraits. Many people fear cameras, much like I fear the dentist. My approach is to look for several kinds of smiles from my clients and ask them questions that naturally bring out the gesture that I am after. I put people's fears at ease and that makes sessions with me fun.

My photographs have been published in the Washington Post and have been exhibited at the Ronald Reagan Building and at American University.

A fun fact about this photographer

I recorded music for a children's book with a Grammy Award winning producer.
