More about Parham B....
What do you love about your job?
To me, photography gives me the outlet to share emotion, to create in others the feeling that I hold when I create an image. A photo that creates the sensations I strive to share is a successful image and time well spent... whether a natural scene, a delicious plate of food, a desirable product, or a great time at an event.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
When doing food shoots, I always look to use the color and texture of the food item to make them visually appealing. I love using warm, natural light for these shoots. Product photography, on the other hand, I generally prefer to use studio lighting, getting full control of highlight and shadow. In real estate photography, I look to make the property look inviting, like a place you'd like to be.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I have won numerous local and regional competitions and won color photographer of the year in my camera club. I've been elected vice-president of our club four consecutive terms.
A fun fact about this photographer
I'm a wannabe chef, a musician, a scuba diver, a computer geek, and passionate about preserving our natural world.
