More about Nick J....
What do you love about your job?
The part I love about photography the most is the process. Getting out to compose a scene, meeting new people while helping them capture important moments, and bringing them to life through post-production.
I also find that as long as I have a camera in my hand, it feeds into my creative passion and pursuit of capturing profound moments worth a million words.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done many fashion and portrait shoots. I like to make them special by sitting down with the client and talking about their goals before doing anything. Understanding and getting to know them better as a person helps me find ways to get clients to be more expressive and confident.
Additionally, reviewing many different types of shots in person and throughout the editing process to make sure that I am capturing the right moments. Which also allows me to see which areas I can be more creative with.
A fun fact about this photographer
Before the pandemic started I took a solo photography trip throughout the Netherlands, Belgium, and England. I wanted to photograph the amazing architecture and landscapes or centuries old cities, capturing the lifestyle of those who live within it's historical walls.
