More about Mark W....
What do you love about your job?
The main thing that I love about being a photographer and videographer is that I get opportunities to meet and learn from amazing people every day. Whether I'm photographing a family or recording footage for a business, I always find myself learning something new about life and, to me, that's priceless. Additionally I love to hear back from satisfied clients about the deliverables of each project and how it is exactly what they were looking for or exactly what they needed.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Family portraits, real estate, automotive, corporate headshots, events, they all receive the same amount of effort and attention from me. The one thing that I do to make these shoots special is that I bring an attitude of growth, positivity, transparency, grace and understanding. I try to really understand and get on the same level as my clients to better serve them and make the shoot unique and relaxed. Attitude is everything and having a great attitude and mindset makes every shoot special.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
Just recently I was apart of a team that won an Emmy Award for our work on the series, "The Journey" for Auburn University's football program.
A fun fact about this photographer
In addition to my professional work in photography and videography, I also have a passionate side endeavor – music production. Crafting music has been a cherished hobby of mine, and much like my visual artistry, it's a medium through which I find great satisfaction in evoking deep emotions.
Harnessing the power of sounds and melodies, I aim to create a symphony of feelings, just as I do with the interplay of lighting and camera angles in my visual work. Whether it's a haunting melody that sends shivers down the spine or a vibrant rhythm that stirs the soul, I relish the art of crafting musical compositions that resonate with the human experience.
These dual passions not only complement one another but also enrich my creative journey, allowing me to explore emotion and storytelling from two distinct yet harmonious perspectives – one through the lens and the other through the notes, ultimately creating a more immersive and holistic experience for my audience.
