What do you love about your job?

There are so many aspects of my photography job that I absolutely adore. Firstly, the opportunity to travel to breathtaking locations is incredibly fulfilling. Whether it's capturing the serene beauty of a mountain landscape or the vibrant energy of a bustling city, each new destination offers endless possibilities for creativity.

Moreover, the feedback from clients is immensely rewarding. Knowing that my work has made a positive impact on someone's life, whether it's capturing their special moments or helping them preserve cherished memories, fills me with a sense of fulfillment and purpose.

Meeting new people is another aspect I cherish. Every photoshoot is a chance to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures, each with their own unique stories to tell.

The challenges inherent in photography keep me on my toes and push me to constantly evolve and improve. Finding innovative ways to overcome obstacles and capture the essence of a moment fuels my creativity and passion for the craft.

Additionally, the flexibility of being a photographer allows me to pursue other interests and spend quality time with loved ones while still doing what I love.

In essence, the combination of adventure, human connection, creative expression, and personal growth makes my photography job incredibly fulfilling and enriching.

I work closely with the couple to understand their story and vision, crafting images that reflect their connection and chemistry. I seek out picturesque locations and moments of intimacy to create stunning visual narratives.

3. Weddings and Engagements: Weddings and engagements are monumental occasions filled with emotion and joy. I approach these shoots with sensitivity and attention to detail, capturing the intricate moments and candid expressions that make each event unforgettable. I strive to be unobtrusive yet present, ensuring that every precious moment is preserved for eternity.

Awards, honors, and recognitions received

As of now, I haven't participated in any photography awards, honors, or competitions. However, I aspire to showcase my work and join photography competitions in the future. I believe that participating in such events will not only provide valuable recognition for my photography but also offer opportunities for growth, learning, and networking within the photography community. I look forward to the chance to share my passion for photography and to see where my journey behind the lens may lead me in the future.

A fun fact about this photographer

A fun fact about me is that I have a hidden talent for cricket. Back in my home country of Sri Lanka, I used to play street cricket with tennis balls, but I never had the chance to try my skills with a hard ball. However, since coming to Australia, I've had the opportunity to join a cricket club, where I surprised myself by becoming the best bowler not just once, but twice! It's been an unexpected and exhilarating journey discovering my cricketing abilities in a new environment. Despite the distance from my home country, cricket has remained a cherished passion, and I often dream of playing the sport at a high level back in Sri Lanka.
