What do you love about your job?

I love that kids love me. I love that I can catch a moment a parent doesn't see but would want to. My favorite kind of photography for family's I photograph documentary style. It differs from candid photography a great deal. There is no art directing in documentary photography. What you see is what you get.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have photographed hundreds of families over the years. The special part is the closeness we have after the session. Friendly but professional.

I have many honors from the professional photograper of greater bay area. It is a group in San Francisco that founded many a great photographers.

A fun fact about this photographer

I have been a swim teacher for kids for 50 years. It is the love of my life because taking pictures of kids.
