More about Levi Yocom ....
What do you love about your job?
I love that I can use my photography as a way to help bring my clients concepts and ideas to reality. And I love that I can have fun doing it.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have shot for two cafes in Los Angeles. Both shoots were for their website/social media where I took photos of a few dishes and portraits of the staff. I have shot architecture for a firm based out of Irvine, CA where I was contracted to shoot store front properties and drone images in a shopping area that the firm managed. I have a very good work ethic, I'm great at planning and problem solving and I am also pretty gregarious which makes it easy for me to interact with clients/subjects. So those aspects are what I would say helped make these shoots special.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
While I was in college, I entered 5 prints into the PPI (Professional Photographers of Iowa) Winter Convention and I walked away with the top student print case out of all the students of Iowa who entered. I also won top portfolio of my graduating class.
A fun fact about this photographer
I rarely shoot digital whenever I am shooting for myself. I am a big film shooter. Shooting film and collecting music (Vinyl records) are my two favorite side hobbies.
