What do you love about your job?
Photography to me is not a job anymore. It becomes part of my life. I am addicted to the feeling and reward it brings to me. When I hand my photos to my customers, their smiles on the face and tears in the eyes always give me goosebumps. I enjoy this feeling. I used to ask myself this question: What do I have to give to this world after I pass away? Now I can tell myself this. I have created beautiful memories for so many families to treasure for many generations to come. That is what I love about my job.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
When you have a cranky 2-years old and frustrated parents, it seems that the session is over before it even starts. I know It is time to do action shots. After making everyone calm down for a while, I would let them engage a rough play. All of sudden started laughing, rolling all over and having a great fun together. I would quietly stay at my post recording this beautiful moment for them to remember for the rest of their life.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I have never though about send my work out for any competition, so no. I never had any award. However, one of the models that I shot told me that she won the best face shot of the season for the entire agency. I don't if that means anything at all.
A fun fact about this photographer
I like play all kinds of games. Fishing, and cooking is also my favor. It is a little pity that there is not many people know how to play a board game called Go. It is so fascinating and intricate and contains statistically unlimited possible moves. I think it should be considered the 8th wonder of the world. Lol.
