More about Kelly B....
What do you love about your job?
I love the freedom and ability to connect with other people through photography. Especially with wedding photography, it has been amazing to me to know that I've played a part in so many people's important life moments. I've been able to share my passion with others in a way that is truly important to them, and that has been amazing.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done many sessions over the years. Sometimes it can feel daunting before going out to the shoot because you're not sure how to pose people in unique ways, or the weather isn't cooperating, etc. I think what I've learned is most important is to just go into the day with no expectations or ideas in my head about what sort of photos I *want* to make, and to let the day and the surroundings really dictate what sort of work I make. That way I end up with photographs that are truly unique to each situation. I also know that it's very important to have a sense of humor; laughing is truly the best way to get everyone comfortable and not stiff in front of a camera!

A fun fact about this photographer
I have a repressed Southern accent from living in VA during my language formative years. Sometimes it just comes out randomly!
