More about James H....
What do you love about your job?
I love travelling to new places, taking photographs and writing about the people and places I encounter, whether it's a thousand miles from home or just around the next bend in the road. There's always something to explore.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I suppose my greatest personal satisfaction has come from putting together stories using my photography and travel journals that I publish regularly as a blog.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I've had a few of my photographs published in a couple of trade magazines, as well as a book commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Anza-Borrego Foundation.
A fun fact about this photographer
It might not be a "fun" fact, but unusual none the less. During the height of the Vietnam War, I was drafted into the US Army and trained in the maintenance of Atomic Demolition Munitions. I served 18 months in Germany, stationed at a remote mountain post on the East German border.
