More about Jalima G....
What do you love about your job?
What I enjoy the most about photography is creating an image that transmits. That it is visually in balance and that it is attractive to the eye. Save stories from others for their memories. Or create images that want to get your attention to sell.
I enjoy that photography is a visual communication, by observing you can communicate much more.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
What I have done the most so far are portraits. To achieve a good portrait, the people involved must feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera and that is my goal, to have a good time. Have fun, enjoy and laugh. Make a stop in our busy lives and save a moment of just enjoying yourself in a nice spot.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
Last year I won a space in a Design Canberra "Seeing Seventies" exhibition. Which was an architectural photography competition of buildings from the 70s in Canberra.
A fun fact about this photographer
When I left school I studied mechanical engineering for three years. In those days I was very far from the artist side.
