What do you love about your job?

Photography as a profession is not dissimilar to espionage. You never know what is waiting for you on location, yet you should be prepared to become your client's best friend and problem solver, deliver on your promise, and then sometimes never see him again, or forge a long and fruitful business relationship. That requires people's skills, and ability to learn and think quickly, not to mention technical proficiency.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have done a wide variety of shoots from a space shuttle launch to tennis tournaments to portraiture, and events big and small. The way to make a shoot special is to come up with a picture that people want to look at over and over again. Somehow, I manage to do it every time.

A fun fact about this photographer

I race sailboats and bicycles, play tennis, dance Argentine tango, and love arthouse cinema. I've traveled to some 20 countries, and it was photography that made it possible.
