What do you love about your job?
I love to tell stories in my pictures. It's an honor when someone gives me the nod to capture a moment in time that was so important, they didn't want to leave to memory.
It's capturing that moment that everyone may have missed, or the subtleties that the naked eye couldn't capture. I love being able to take a moment that looks mundane, and making it epic via color scheme planning, location scouting, and composing the right shot.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done Fashion and Editorial shoots in studio, street, and nature. I've also done Social Media events, when asked to be the resident photographer for the evening.
I make each one special by planning them well in advance. Scouting the locations, taking a few practice shots to understand how the light will play out, so I can mentally prepare how and where I'll place my subjects live. Spending time to think through my subjects skin tones, and collaborative style and plan their garments to wear, their hairstyle that's going to get the best geometric lines in an image. Also, creating the right mood for my subject, and making sure we have fun.

I played in the NFL for 6 years, grew up on the Tenor Sax, and have become a proficient jazz pianist.
