More about Christina P....
What do you love about your job?
I enjoy the variety that each day brings as a photographer. I love meeting new people and discovering new places. There is always something to learn and experience as a photographer. I love knowing the images I capture will be cherished for a lifetime.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
After working as a photojournalist for 12-years, I have covered everything from events, portraits, food and sports photography. My strength as a news photographer has taught me to capture the human spirit. I am able to think quick on my feet which bring out the best candid moments out of any session.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
Christina was recognized twice with the Best Press Photographer’s Portfolio from the Minnesota Newspaper Association, the Humanitarian Award from the Associated Press, and Clip Winner of the Year from the Minnesota News Photographers Association. She has been featured in two Rick Smolan’s day-in-a-life picture book series; America 24/7 and My America at Home.
A fun fact about this photographer
I love cycling the local bike paths, swimming and practicing yoga. I have done two bike tours of Ireland with my camera bag in tow. Last year, I did the Five-Boro Bike Tour in NYC with a Go-Pro camera attached to the handle bars. And I love walking the Columbus neighborhoods. There are so many unique places to explore all-year-round.
