What do you love about your job?
I think for most people beginning their journey in photography, it starts out very personal. I love that it has given me a way to express myself, and to show people the way that I see the world. Photography has created opportunities to build everlasting relationships and friendships with clients and other photographers. Lastly, what a dream it is, and what a privilege it is to be able to make a living with people entrusting you to creatively capture, document, and bring their memories to life.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
One shoot, in particular, I've done that was special was an engagement shoot where I brought a jar full of charades written on little pieces of paper. I didn't have to pose my clients, they just pulled out a paper and acted out the charade and I captured the magic. We all had so much fun rather than just "posing" them.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I've been featured in The Silicon Valley magazine which was my first time being published which was awesome. Can't say I've won any Pulitzer prizes as of yet, but I'm working on it.
A fun fact about this photographer
This is ironic but... I hate getting my picture take HAHA! I also love road trips, working out, and LOVE LOVE LOVE travel photography and meetups.
