More about Bulent D....
What do you love about your job?
The best thing I love about taking photos is the act of taking them at the first place. I always carry a camera with me even if it's not for work. I love to do documentary photography like an outsider, as if I'm a ghost and just going around where history is being written without anybody noticing. What I love specifically is that you can reflect on reality without any distortion. It's as if you're telling a story without changing anything, as much as you can as a human.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Since I worked as a photojournalist for years, I've done photography of many kinds; events, concerts, sports, conferences, parties and festivals, as well as portraits. First I used to think how my photo would look and be told on a newspaper or any media and how people would read the story being told with it. Then I would try to concentrate on how the image makes me feel and what I understand of it. I would try to come up with the best combination of these conditions and make the shot.
