More about Brian R....
What do you love about your job?
There are a lot of intricacies that are overlooked in real estate and commercial photography. From composition, to properly editing windows and colors in a spacious home, it requires a lot of balancing and tweaking both on site and in post production. Once the final image is achieved, looking at that living room (as an example) in it's more grandest of ways truly makes me fall in love with what I do. It's as if a painter has a vision that they execute through careful crafting and detailed execution. All of this plays a role in real estate photography. In addition, what kind of certified does not like to fly their drone? Flying my drone as part of my living and being able to capture homes from a higher view and elevation to wow viewers - what more can I ask for!?
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
If we are sticking to the real estate field, I worked on a promotional video for an agent in a home worth $6 million. Of course, setting foot in homes like these are just something surreal. It coincidently happened right after I had gotten my commercial drone pilot license and it was my first time using it commercially. The experience to fly it over this home and work with the agent to promote the home was one for the books.
