More about Brenda A....
What do you love about your job?
What I love most about my job is the ability to capture and preserve meaningful moments that people will cherish forever. Whether it's the joy of a wedding day, the personality in a portrait, or the unique details of an event or product, I get to freeze these moments in time. Every day is different, and I love the creative freedom photography gives me to tell someone's story in a way that's authentic and beautiful. Seeing the reactions of my clients when they look at their photos and realize how perfectly their memories have been captured is incredibly rewarding. It’s more than just a job—it’s about creating something lasting and special for each person I work with.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I’ve had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of shoots, including weddings, portraits, events, car photography, and product photography. Each type of shoot is unique, and I make them special by focusing on the details that matter most to my clients and bringing out the essence of the moment.
For weddings, I create a relaxed atmosphere so the couple feels comfortable and can be themselves, which helps capture authentic emotions. I also make sure to capture both candid moments and the little details—like the décor or personal touches—that make each wedding unique.
For portrait sessions, I get to know my clients beforehand to understand their personalities and what they want to express through their photos. Whether it’s a professional headshot, family portrait, or a creative concept, I work to create an environment where they feel confident and natural.
In product and car photography, I pay close attention to the lighting, angles, and features that highlight the subject in the best way. It’s all about showcasing what makes the product or vehicle stand out and connecting it to its audience.
No matter the type of shoot, my goal is always to personalize the experience and deliver images that resonate deeply with my clients.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I’ve had the honor of being interviewed three times by **DFW Shoutout** and **MIA Shoutout** for my work in photography. It’s been an incredible experience to share my journey and creative process with these platforms, and I’m grateful for the recognition. Moments like these push me to continue growing as an artist and inspire others through my work.
A fun fact about this photographer
A fun fact about me is that I’ve traveled to New York twice in less than six months! It’s one of my favorite cities to visit, and I love exploring its vibrant energy, diverse culture, and iconic photo spots. Traveling always sparks my creativity, and I’m constantly inspired by the new places I get to experience. Plus, it’s a great way to find new photography ideas and bring a fresh perspective to my work back home in Texas!
