What do you love about your job?

As a photographer and artist, I am constantly inspired by the people I meet and the amazing ideas they have. I love the opportunity to connect with others who share my love for art and photography, and to collaborate on projects that allow us to tell stories and capture memories through our work.

One of the things I love most about my job is the freedom to be my own boss and explore new areas and sceneries that inspire me to become a better artist. I am always learning new things from other individuals and am constantly seeking out opportunities to grow and improve in my craft.

The ability to meet new people and collaborate with them on creative projects is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. Whether I'm working with clients or fellow artists, I am constantly amazed by the diversity of ideas and perspectives that I encounter. It's this sense of community and connection that truly makes my job as a photographer and artist so fulfilling and rewarding.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of shoots throughout my career as a photographer, and each one has presented its own unique challenges and opportunities. While I don't necessarily feel like every shoot needs to be special to me, I do try to bring my own creative vision and perspective to each one.

One thing that I have learned to do is to leave trails of details and hints in the scene that might make for a good story. This trick was inspired by one of my favorite game directors, Hidetaka Miyazaki, who loves to leave cryptic hints around his environments for people to discover. I find that this approach adds an extra layer of depth and interest to my photos, and helps to create a sense of mystery and intrigue.

One of the most difficult things for me is sorting through the best photos and deciding which ones to keep. Every shoot is unique and has its own aesthetic, and what I consider to be the best photo may not be the same as someone else. However, I try to focus on creating images that are aesthetically pleasing and that capture the mood and atmosphere of the scene. Ultimately, my goal is to create photos that leave a lasting impact on the viewer.

Awards, honors, and recognitions received

As a photographer and artist, I have been fortunate to receive a number of rewards and recognition for my work. While I may not have had many rewards specifically for my photography, I have had a successful career as a 3D animator and creature developer, winning several awards for my work in this field.

I am a graduate of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where I won four annual spring show awards for my work in creature development and an animation short called "Everything Obsolete." I have also received recognition from Pixologic for a themed ZBrush sculpture.

In addition to my work in the commercial industry, I have also had the opportunity to work on a number of other exciting projects as a photographer. I have shot editorial campaigns for several major fashion brands, and my work has been featured in top industry publications such as Nike, Maxim and Harper's Bazaar.

I have also had the pleasure of working with several high-profile clients in the fitness industry. My work has been used in promotional materials for major commercial advertisements and I have received praise for my ability to capture the unique personalities and charisma of my subjects.

In addition to these accomplishments, I have also been recognized for my work in fine art photography. Several of my pieces have been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, and I have won numerous awards for my ability to create evocative and expressive images that capture the beauty and emotion of the world around us.

A fun fact about this photographer

Despite my love for photography, I must admit that I am a bit out of shape from always sitting at the computer learning new skills and sometimes neglecting my health in the pursuit of new ideas. But I am working on getting back in shape and finding a better balance between my creative pursuits and my overall well-being.

My story as a photographer is actually quite funny. Growing up, I was never particularly interested in photography and always thought it was boring. I was also quite anti-social, so it was ironic that I ended up becoming a photographer, which often requires close connections with people when working in certain fields.

Despite my initial reservations, I have come to love working with models, athletes, and other people in front of the camera. While I used to dread posing people, it has now become an integral part of my creative process when taking photos of people. I have found that working with others allows me to capture unique and meaningful moments, and has helped me to grow as an artist. Overall, I am grateful for the opportunity to share my passion for photography with others, and to continue learning and growing as an artist.
