More about Adam S....
What do you love about your job?
Content is better with context, and the more emotionally connecting that context is, the better story the content can tell. I love connecting with people, and hearing about who they are, where they are from, and what their ambitions are. The more you know about people, the more you can bring out those little hints of emotion they give off when you take that picture. A picture only lasts as long as people want to look at it, or else it will be lost forever in the abyss. My goal is to create something that will always have a place in someones mind.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done newborn photoshoots, family, model and event photoshoots. I love capturing people in the candid moments, so I wait patiently for the "in between" photos, for the moments that people are having conversation and laugh together. Waiting for those perfect pictures, in the crowd, or through the tree line, or across the room, and no one is seeing you, but you capture that genuine laughter. It's those moments where you know your client will have a huge smile on their face when they don't even know when you took that picture.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
None for photography so far... But I did have my video win for a Berkshire Hathaway Video Competition, between 5000 realtors, and a couple hundred submissions, in which the video I helped my friend create was #1. Definitely a proud moment.
A fun fact about this photographer
I used to be a scientist.
