What do you love about your job?

I love meeting new people and finding a way to connect with them. I also love to learn things about them and their accomplishments in life. Photography is often used to capture moments of success in a person's life and I love being part of so many success stories.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have done family portraits and I make them special by customizing each photoshoot experience to the client and what feeling they want when they see the end result. I have done weddings and I believe the love displayed by the bride and groom make each wedding special in its own unique way. Sometimes you are wowed by the venue and decor. Other times you may be in awe of the personality of the bride and groom that is displayed in the photos. I have done real estate photography which I try my best to capture the quality of the finishes and architecture. I have done fashion events which are special due to the unique theme of each event. Fashion Designers are some of the most creative people on the planet and I feed off their creativity as I capture their creations. When photographing sporting events, I make those shoots special by capturing how great the movement of the athlete was in the moment. Athletic activity in motion can be very captivating. Maternity & Baby Photography are special moments in time that can not be duplicated. I make these special by connecting with the client so they not only receive high quality photos but also have a fond memory of the moment as well. When doing Corporate Events I like to focus on execution and delivering exactly what the client has requested so they can utilize the photos for effective marketing and documentation purposes. When given an opportunity I love helping to creative branding for a company using my creative eye. I have done Product Photography where I get an opportunity to collaborate with a chef, artist or designer and I help them capture the unique essence of their masterpiece to unveil to the world. Lifestyle photography is fun for me because of the different locations I have been able to select to photograph at. When you have a breath-taking location, the photos literally take themselves!

Awards, honors, and recognitions received

My photography was utilized by the Hyatt Regency Hotel at Perimeter for their seasonal wedding marketing and in-house catalog. Recognized by World Harvest Church for my many years of photography and helped to start the photography team to teach aspiring photographers best practices for live event photography. Numerous corporate entities have approached our company after seeing the photography displayed on my website.

A fun fact about this photographer

I was a Model and Model Choreographer for an entertainment organization in college, which propelled me into professional modeling shows and other opportunities. I also ran track in college at North Carolina A&T State University. I competed in the 800 meters and the 4x400 meter relay.
