What do you love about your job?

I really love being a part of people's special day. There aren't many jobs out there that connect you with people in such intimate ways, allowing you into their special moments and assisting them capture memories for generations to come. The value of today's professional photographers is that we focus on capturing the energy and flow of events, and then provide them to customers to their satisfaction with accuracy that is always improving. Another key point is we are often in the moment at photography events, having just as much fun as the subjects in our photos. It is not uncommon for me to come home from an event completely tired because I gave it my all (physically and emotionally) to capture all the moments of the event.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have done nearly every kind of shoot to round my experience. I have done maternity, family portraits, small group shoots, birthday surprise parties, large corporation events, school student photos, graduations, and weddings. I make them special by capturing the most important moments of each event, as all are defined by key moments. I also connect with everyone I am taking pictures of to ensure that they are satisfied with the work and their expectations are met.

Awards, honors, and recognitions received

I have not competed for any awards since High School, but would not mind putting my work up for review in the future.

A fun fact about this photographer

I am an avid outdoors fan and a runner. I combine both by trail running and competing in ultra running events.
