More about Paul C....
What do you love about your job?
I’m just happy being behind a camera in that mode or zone. I kind of go into my own little world when I’m behind the camera, my focus just deepens to where, I can’t really explain it. And then, when I resurface and show my clients my work, that is very rewarding. Giving my clients images that they truly cherish, it’s all so fulfilling for me.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Whatever or whenever I’m shooting I make it special. It doesn’t really matter, if I’m shooting family portraits I’m engaging with them, making it fun and stress less. When I’m shooting a wedding there’s a time to engage with them and time to disengage and let them enjoy the moments. Sometimes I make it special by just letting them be them and just document their moments together. Knowing what to do and when/how to do it makes things special.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
I don’t really have to many traditional awards for my photography since I don’t submit them to anyone but my clients. I have done some landscape photography for myself and submitted those images a couple times. Once I took a second and third place in a Reddi Arts Photography Show and won two ribbons along with $200 worth of prize monies. My true rewards though, come from my clients and their appreciation of my work and those are the rewards I strive for.
A fun fact about this photographer
I love dogs! Really I love all animals, dogs are just my favorite. I really like photography and and photographing people, I'd probably shoot for free, but getting paid is great! Peace!
