What do you love about your job?
Photography makes me love and enjoy every second that i'm at work, I love the challenge that it creates, and I love how it pushes me to take the best of me outside to the world
I'm enjoying being professional, and yet after each photo shooting I have this feeling that i accomplished and I learned something new
I love working with people and meeting new people
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Recently I have done several portrait shoots for students, academics, an author, and families; engagement and wedding shoots; product photography for a handknitting designer and food photographer for a local dessert shop; and onsite sports photography for various football clubs in the state. When I met with the handknitting designer and saw her work, I came up with some creative ideas about how I wanted the shoot to look. This helped to turn the shoot into a creative collaboration: the designer and I workshopped and combined our ideas until we got to the perfect concept. At that point we figured out which models, backgrounds, and lighting kit we needed for this session, and prepared everything according to the determined needs. The shoot was made very successful because we were prepared with everything we needed beforehand and could adjust the set up accordingly to meet the demands of shooting different products and models. The resulting photographs exceeded the designer's expectations, which is the ultimate outcome for me.
