What do you love about your job?

I love capturing and preserving memories. A photograph is only as good as the feelings and thoughts it evokes. Working as a photographer is so rewarding because it connects you to those moments and lets you precisely craft the way they’ll be remembered. It’s both a great joy and responsibility.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

Every shoot is special for a different reason. One of my fondest memories working was watching the Vikings win the 2022 national championship in Women's soccer. When the team went to celebrate in front of the stands, I put my camera on the ground and pointed it up. The angle included the hordes of Western fans and athletes from other teams cheering in the stands. I think I made that moment special by capturing a wider scene.

I've moved around a bunch! I was born in NYC and moved around between Boston, Chicago, New York and eventually Bellingham.
