What do you love about your job?

I love when I see people smiling. I love to capture the nuances of expression that shows the different side of human. I love the catchlight in the eye, the kiss of hair light from the sun, the beautiful texture of human skin and their favorite dress. I love when I see the joy in the eye of the photographees after I show them what I've taken.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have done both single portraits and family portraits. I try to enable their natural happy expression through very simple poses. I show them a good picture that I have just taken and they instantly becomes happy, smiley. Which ultimately makes them confident and they naturally pose correctly while I can only focus on composition. Then I show them the results again and look at them smiling with joy.

I am a Mechanical Engineer. I received fellowship from the University of Western Ontario and completed my master's there.
