More about Mark D....
What do you love about your job?
I love meeting the people behind the camera as well as the ones that I photograph. Every shoot presents its own set of challenges, to create the imagery required to get the job done.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Architecture, food, all types of portraits, weddings! Each requires its own skill set. Making a space seem inviting, putting the person in front of the camera at ease, and making it fun are the keys to a special and successful shoot.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
While I would be honored to have received an award for any of my photos, I value the experiences that some of the work has given me. Getting a chance to see a sous vide egg factory for Cuisine Solutions or the competition that Sheetz runs during its annual awards and recognition conference were more valuable than an award can give.
A fun fact about this photographer
I taught myself how to juggle in my teens for no particular reason. I can drive a stick shift and a motorcycle, and I am a licensed skydiver with over 100 solo jumps!
