Marina Weitz has been passionate about photography since the age of 14. Starting out shooting friends, she developed her passion slowly while taking courses through college and continuing to shoot after graduating, though initially using her degree in Interior Design to begin her career. With her art school background, she now brings her keen eye for colors, composition and lighting into her photography work, and has since shot for numerous private and commercial clients. She loves to keep it natural, shooting people in their most comfortable states and authentic environments.

What do you love about your job?

I love finding that perfect moment to shoot, when all the elements come together to beautifully tell a story. And I love the whole process to get to that moment, from conceptualizing with clients to delivering exactly what they had in mind.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have shot swimwear, lifestyle, product photography, maternity, portraiture photography and a couple weddings. I always begin communication with a client well before the shoot, making sure I'm meeting their needs throughout the shoot, and then delivering the final product in a timely manner.

I am almost as obsessed with ping pong (and surfing) as I am with photography. I love it!
