Laura Levesque, Owner of Motion Creative has had plenty of love for photography since her very early years. Laura’s Mother, who photographed her constantly throughout childhood using 35mm film and her haute couture and design eye for photographing unknowingly built a foundation for Laura’s ‘obsession’ with composition, design and love of creatively capturing a moment in time. With 10 years of experience added to formal training, shooting everything from concerts, head shots, weddings and her own children in the DSLR realm there is a trained eye and steady hand behind every cherished memory she captures.

What do you love about your job?

Making clients happy! I just really enjoy the creativity this job allows many times. Yes, you must get the basic set of shots for the event/occasion and there is a set stadard but the ones that really 'wow' a client are the extras you get to take while thinking outside the box. :)

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I've done Head shots for authors, writers, models, business/corporate, couples, cake smashes!, actors/actresses, bands, artists, but mainly food.

I've done shoots with all the the above mentioned both indoor (professional studio/portable to homes) and outdoor, also private events, concerts, familes and kids, baby showers, weddings, cake smashes!)

A fun fact about this photographer

I've been a guitar player for 20 years and also studied audio engineering production/worked in sound. I still currently songwrite/sing/play multi instruments and freelance whenever possible :). I'm learning French and Spanish for fun.
