What do you love about your job?

I love my job as a photographer because it allows me to blend my passion for storytelling with my artistic creativity. Through the lens of my camera, I have the privilege of capturing moments that are cherished and preserved forever. It brings me immense joy to witness the raw emotions, the genuine connections, and the intricate details that make each subject unique. Being a photographer enables me to explore the world with a keen eye, finding beauty in the seemingly ordinary and revealing the extraordinary in the most unexpected places. The satisfaction I feel when my images evoke emotions, inspire others, or provoke thought is truly gratifying. Every day as a photographer is an adventure, a constant pursuit of capturing fleeting moments and transforming them into timeless visual narratives. I am grateful for the opportunity to use my skills to freeze time, to tell stories, and to share my artistic vision with the world.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

Throughout my photography journey, I have had the opportunity to engage in a wide range of shoots, each with its own unique essence and purpose. Here are a few types of shoots I have done and how I endeavored to make them special:

Wedding Photography: Weddings are joyful celebrations of love and union. To make these shoots special, I focus on capturing not just the key moments but also the genuine emotions that unfold throughout the day. I strive to be unobtrusive, allowing the couple and their loved ones to experience their special day naturally while I document the fleeting moments of joy, laughter, and heartfelt connections.

Landscape Photography: Nature has an inherent beauty that deserves to be captured in all its grandeur. In landscape shoots, I immerse myself in the environment, exploring different angles, lighting conditions, and perspectives. To make these shoots special, I aim to convey the awe-inspiring qualities of the scene, whether it's the vastness of a mountain range, the tranquility of a misty forest, or the vibrant colors of a sunset. I pay attention to the details, using composition techniques to create visually captivating images that transport viewers to the location.

Fashion Photography: Fashion shoots are an opportunity to showcase creativity, style, and storytelling. To make these shoots special, I collaborate closely with the fashion team, including stylists, makeup artists, and models. I strive to understand and reflect the vision of the designer or brand, while also infusing my own artistic touch. I play with lighting, poses, and locations to create visually striking images that not only showcase the clothing but also evoke a mood or narrative.

Documentary Photography: Documenting real-life events and social issues can be a powerful way to raise awareness and bring about change. In documentary shoots, I aim to capture the raw, unfiltered reality of the subject matter. To make these shoots special, I approach them with empathy, respect, and a deep understanding of the context. I spend time building relationships with the individuals or communities I am documenting, gaining their trust to capture authentic and impactful images that tell their stories with honesty and compassion.

In every type of shoot I undertake, my goal is to go beyond the surface and create images that are meaningful, evocative, and memorable. I strive to connect with my subjects, whether they are people, landscapes, or events, and to bring out their essence in a way that resonates with viewers. By infusing each shoot with creativity, empathy, and attention to detail, I aim to make every experience special and to create images that leave a lasting impression.

During my undergraduate studies, my primary focus was on jazz saxophone performance. I play saxophone, flute, clarinet, and piano.
