More about John D....
What do you love about your job?
See above, I just enjoy photography. I try to find the perspective that few others see in a common scene. I have a shot of Eilean Donan Castle in Scotland that graces the cover of a Russian language history book as well as other areas. One of Scotland's most photographed sites but I was able to find a unique view. That's the joy, create something others will look at say wow.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Trick question. You should strive to make every shoot special. It's all about who you are shooting for and what they find special. Communication is key and that's where interpersonal skills come to play.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
Have not looked for these, best I can offer many accolades on JPEGMag.com for my work in photo of the week, photographer of the week, mention in the JPEG blog and more. Being invited by Getty Images to contribute.
