What do you love about your job?
I love working with the medium of light, like a sailor loves the wind or the stars, or the sea. I'm a craftsman, and I love creating intentional art. I also love meeting new people and I live to share experiences, stories, and feelings with others through my craft.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I worked with a local jewelery designer and goldsmith in San Francisco on a complete business and personal rebrand for her website and social media. We discussed creative vision at length and made the photos match her brand and minimalist organic style of her jewelry. In a two hour shoot we created all the content she needed for a complete rebrand, new website, and updated social media content, including lifestyle and product photos of over 25 pieces. The consultation took 1 hour, the shoot 3 hours, the editing 6 hours. The resulting work was something we were both ecstatic about and I loved seeing her sales and confidence as a small business owner grow as a result.

A fun fact about this photographer
When I'm not absorbed in my photography, I recharge and relax by surfing or playing music. I play guitar, ukelele, and I'm relearning the banjo. One day I hope to be a street performing one man band :)
