More about Jason K....
What do you love about your job?
In college I was told that the camera was a passport to experience. I found this to be very true. For someone who couldn't decide what he wanted to be when he grew up, photography has allowed me to live many lives vicariously. Through photography I have been able to learn and experience many things and meet many people that I would never have known existed. With my images I have been able to share these experiences with others.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Through the years I have completed many different types of photography. I started with shooting weddings in a documentary style. I have also worked for several years as an architectural photographer. I have also worked photographing sports and events. For the last several years I have worked as a magazine photographer specializing in editorial portraiture and documentary work.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
In general I don't enter contests. Though I have worked on several stories that have won awards from the local journalists association.
A fun fact about this photographer
