What do you love about your job?
What I love the most about my job is that I get to reproduce how my mind sees the world!
As a photographer, I see the world differently than a normal person. I have developed an appreciation for visual aesthetics that are usually neither appreciated nor noticed by many. Let me explain a bit more.
I usually go to busy streets, with my wife, to observe and appreciate the visual aesthetics of people, buildings and structures, lights, and colors. one of my favorite spots to do this is Northbridge at night. I observe how people show the seven universal expressions, Happiness, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, Anger, Contempt, and Surprise; and appreciate the unique ways each person shows them. I look at how the street lights and hundreds of other lights from shops, clubs, and bars light up people's faces. And I observe how the looks on people's faces change according to the direction, color, and quality of light.
It is fascinating to me how every single person is unique and different. . Regardless of how similar two people are in appearance, even if I'm looking at identical twins wearing the same outfit, I notice how their personalities mix with their appearance to make each of them look beautiful in their own unique way.
Photography allows me to reproduce the beauty of people the way I see it.
It is a way of expressing the way I see the world,
And it makes me feel satisfied, deeply.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done maternity shoots and portrait shoots, a lot.
My secret to making each of those shoots special and priceless to the clients is communication. I talk with my clients and listen to their stories and I try to understand the client.
