What do you love about your job?
I love the process to create a photographic images from the technical approach to the aesthetic enjoyment.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Lately, I have shoot a lot of musician portraits for documentation. However, mostly like to do Portraits for album covers and advertisement. I start studying the color and energy of the artist's music and design around it the shoot and how the musician should be portrait in his album. The uniqueness and bespoke process of my approach and the trust of my clients in me is what make them special.
Awards, honors, and recognitions received
In July 2018 I was awarded with Fellowship of the Program for Latin American Studies at Princeton University to edit a long lasting photography project about Santiago's (St. James) Procession in Loíza, Puerto Rico. On November, 2011 I won the First Prize and Acquisition Prize of FOTO MAC. The First Fine Art Photography contest sponsored by the Puerto Rico Contemporary Art Museum and UBS.
On November, 2004 i was awarded with a fellowship by The Minority Journalism Educators to attend American Press Institute, Photo Department Leadership: Motivating The Team, Harnessing The Power of Pictures seminar. As well on the Summer, 2002 I gained a fellowship of the Institute of Journalism Excellence of the American Society of Newspaper Editors to make a residency at the San Antonio Express News Photography Department.

Because I was versed in my youth in a black and white darkroom I started to gain an affection to cook.
