More about Giulia L....
What do you love about your job?
I love many things of my job: I love the fact that I can cross different path every day of my life; I love to see the amazed expression when I show the portrait I took of someone who thought would never been able to have a good picture ever; I love freeze moments in time... therefore I love to make people happy with my craft.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I think that starting with weddings, I always try to capture the emotions of the day, feeling the moment, trying to become a part of party blending in as much as possible (which is my approach to any kind of events) but at the same time always being vigilant on what is happening around me.
For portraiture, well when is about family photography I love to play with them, specifically easy games like pick-a-boo hiding behind the camera if the kid is very young, otherwise I use their own favorite toys to attract their attention.
When I work solely with adults depends from the type of shoots: if that's a professional headshot i always try to understand first what is their profession and which kind of business are in so I can tailor perfectly the portrait on the subject, which is anyway something that I try to apply to portraiture in general. If we are talking about a couple for example I will try to let them talk about their experience together in order to understand if they're adventurous people or more of a Netflix and couch kind of guys.

A fun fact about this photographer
I always been a very shy girl with a huge difficulty in talking with strangers, very quite and introvert. Now I am the most chatty person you may meet.
